Welcome to Natalia Anja Photography!

Professionally, I am a freelance photographer based out of beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada.  I LOVE people and am very passionate about human connection, unique experiences, health, wellness, personal development, nature, and adventure - This range of interests had me create the Cold Plunge Crew in 2017. A local meetup group that has been hosting weekly meetups and experiential events to raise money for charities we align with.

I was born in Poland and moved to Greece,  eventually settling down in Vancouver. My father documented our family’s adventure with a film and video camera. I've followed in my dad’s footsteps by capturing and cherishing memories through a lens.

While previously working for a company called
‘The Buried Life’ (A project that encourages people to check off their bucket list items.) ‘The Buried Life’ inspired me to pursue my passion as a Professional Photographer. Fortunately I've been a full time freelance portrait photographer since 2013 after taking the leap.

In early 2015 I entered and won a contest to join the cast of Global Degree, a show featured on Discovery Digital's Network about travellers visiting every country to graduate with their 'Global Degree'. After 11 months of travelling and capturing 23 gorgeous countries in Asia and 6 in Europe, I am back to my full time position as a portrait photographer in Vancouver.

The love for photography stems from the incredible feeling of capturing unforgettable moments. I take pride in connecting with people in a genuine caring way, allowing them to feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Always smiling and hoping I can bring a smile to the faces of everyone I meet. 

With many passion projects on the go, I'm very eager to learn more and strongly believing that images are very powerful; my goal is to connect with people, allowing them to feel at ease and to capture their natural essence.

I’m always thinking about how I can add immense value for my clients in their session and through their images. Whether it be capturing a high quality business portrait that leads to more clients, elevating a brands appearance or getting someone that first date.
