We stopped for delicious paratha, sambar, and torkari at a little place that could be considered a restaurant on the side of the backwaters during our canoe ride. We then got invited to try some Palm beer the locals made at the village bar. This man was watching us try the beer through the window filled with spider webs. He was very sweet.

When we arrived at our last stop in India, Varinasi it was hard not to fall in love with the beautiful chaos of the city. Streets filled with people, cows, donkeys, goats, rickshaws, monkeys and people. The excessive use of horns create a soundtrack that best describes the city. I wish I could capture images with my eyes because every time I blink I am enamoured with the culture of this special place.
